Casino for Communication

At various gambling tables you are faced with the challenge of developing common strategies and putting yourself in your co-players’ position. In an entertaining way you quickly learn to what extent communication and cooperation contribute to success. You come to realize that your behaviour during the games is often similar to the way you behave in your daily life. The playful atmosphere allows you to experiment with new forms of behavior and strategies without directly impacting your work life. During the games you have the opportunity to gain new experiences and to try out various methods of interaction which can be transferred into your working environment.

Example: Associating

In this game – a version of roulette – you have to associate symbols or pictures with concrete terms. If you come up with the same terms as your co-players, everyone gets one point.

The idea behind this game is, on the one hand, to show the different perceptions of individual team members and, on the other hand, to assimilate these – to find common ground with mutual understanding.

By exchanging the symbols the game can be adapted to different topics, e. g. you can use it to illustrate and internalize a company’s key values or to focus on special team values which have to be communicated.

Customization of training sessions

Using the Casino for Communication, we can accommodate groups from 8 up to 32 participants in our training center.

To provide you with a tailor-made solution we do an extensive analysis of the background, status and training needs of your group and adapt the training measures individually. In order to create an integrated training program we also combine the Casino for Communication with Dialogue in the Dark and/or Dialogue in Silence sessions. Our training measures are often incorporated into existing training programs, e. g. trainee, leadership transition or leadership development programs. In this context they can thus be used to enhance topics such as virtual teamwork, strategic solution finding, self-awareness, implementation of mission statements, authenticity and leadership in a playful environment.

Cancellation Terms

If a booking is cancelled in full or for individual participants up to the 20th day prior to the event, a cancellation fee will not apply. If a cancellation takes place between 14 and 20 days prior to the event, 50% of the fee will be charged. If a cancellation takes place within 13 days of the event, the full fee is due. Any cancellations must be made in writing.
