This session is the kick-off for a training program. Do you want to put together a new team for a project or for an international network? Complete darkness provides you with an effective solution.
This seminar takes place in the black box, a pitch-black room. Upon entering this room the participants quickly realize that as they are in an unusual environment and with unfamiliar colleagues, they will only be able to succeed as a team by communicating and finding a common language. This communication behavior is further developed and practiced. The participants have to solve complex tasks by developing common strategies in order to deliver optimal results.
Rotating and mixing the participants in small groups can represent a further challenge: getting in touch with different characters and learning to rely on them within a short period of time. At the end of the session the groups are brought together to form a whole.
After approx. 2.5 hours there is a debriefing on the new experiences acquired in the dark with input from the blind and partially sighted trainers. Links to the participants’ personal and professional lives are established.
The ongoing cooperation provides the opportunity to monitor the lasting impact of these impressions and to incorporate these into training sessions.
