You want to convey your corporate leadership values to your executive staff or to develop their leadership skills? A seminar in complete darkness provides a quick and effective way of doing this.
An initial training session in the “Dialog in the Dark” exhibition not only sharpens the participants’ senses; after a short period of time it already becomes apparent who stands out as leader in this completely different environment. Through various tasks the participants have to gain their colleagues’ trust and to organize complex processes. Between the tasks there are opportunities for the participants to reflect on their behavior.
The second session takes place in the black box, a pitch-black room. The tasks become more and more complex. They require effective communication behavior and the application of the insights gained from the previous exercises.
At the end of the seminar the participants meet in the light to discuss their behavior in the dark. This opportunity for self-reflection and the feedback from the trainers allow them to draw parallels to their behavior in everyday business. It also further develops leadership skills and ensures the integration of leadership values into their work.
