Full Day Training-Teambuilding

Are you looking to form a new team, restructure an existing team or quickly find common personal and business ground? A full day’s training in complete darkness opens up new opportunities.

The first training session (approx. 2.5 hours) takes place at the “Dialog in the Dark” exhibition. By tackling different tasks in an authentic reconstruction of everyday environments, the participants’ different senses are activated and sharpened. The team will experience the way in which complete darkness allows them to focus on the essentials. Through the different tasks the participants discover new forms of trust in themselves and the team. At the same time they become aware that they have to adapt to a new environment and to the team’s dynamics to successfully manage the tasks.

In the next training session in the light (approx. 1 hour) the newly acquired insights are discussed in detail. Initial links to the participants’ personal and professional lives are established.
After a break the participants return to the dark to apply the insights gained thus far to new tasks. The focus is on both teamwork and communication. How can a team manage to solve a puzzle by simply relying on communication? How can they present results without PowerPoint and without seeing their colleagues? The team has to find solutions - not only in small teams, but involving all of the participants.

Following the training in the dark, the team takes part in an in-depth debriefing in the light (approx. 1.5 hours) together with the trainers. This session focuses on processes in the individual tasks as well as the overall goals of the entire seminar. Linking the new impressions and experiences with detailed reflection ensures they can successfully be transferred to working life.

Goals: teambuilding, networking, identification of potential, awareness
Time frame: 7 hours
